ImerjaMail will continually evolve to ensure the protection you receive is current and reliable, drawing on the wealth of knowledge and development readily available within the Open Source community

Threats and requirements are evolving constantly and ImerjaMail will respond accordingly to new challenges and opportunities. These will come both from the security environment and from user requests and market demands.

Development of better and more efficient protection from malware and spam will be an ongoing process. Improved performance will be continually delivered into the product at no additional cost to subscribers. Developments of the Open Source elements of the solution will be fed back into the Open Source community, thereby ensuring the further development and enhancement of the service.

The Open Source architecture allows for the wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise available in the Open Source community to be applied quickly and efficiently for the protection of ImerjaMail customers without the financial constraints and development cycles of propriety software offerings.

New functionality beyond current email protection will be developed to increase the overall service offering, and this may be at additional cost. However, all enhancements will be offered as separately priced options and Imerja remains committed to keeping ImerjaMail as the most cost effective solution in the market place.

New functionality currently under development includes:

ImerjaMail Appliance

Currently under development is an appliance solution for deployment at the customer’s site that will allow onsite email processing. This solution is suited to organisations that generate large volumes of email but are not constrained by their Internet usage, such as Universities. Due for release summer 2007.

ImerjaMail Archive

The archive option will enable the selection of any or all emails entering or leaving an organisation to be copied and then safely deposited in a secure and encrypted archive. Administrators with sufficient privilege within the organisation can then use a search facility to locate specific emails. This solution is suited to organisations that wish or are required by legislation to maintain complete records of all or external correspondence. Due for release summer 2007.
